MajinHaku
The Topic Title is self explanatory. The Console text is off-screen, and my FalloutPrefs.ini was already set to 200. This issue began after restarting my computer. While the .ini file is changed, the console outright won't change, it will open, but it will be off-screen. I have already tried setting it to higher numbers, I've checked if it wasn't read only, and nothing is changing the console. My screen resolution is 1280x1024 and the method of changing the X value worked for me in the past. Edited May 31, 2017 by MajinHaku
dubiousintent
Note that if you are currently or have used "Mod Organizer", MO uses its own copies of "Fallout.ini" and "FalloutPrefs.ini" (from when the MO profile was created), located in the "<Steam install path>\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Mod Organizer\profiles\<Your Profile Name>" folder. These files need to be changed as well. -Dubious-

MajinHaku
Mmm, on second hand, it seems I have no Mod Organizer folder on my Fallout New Vegas directory, anywhere else they could be?
MajinHaku
Oh nevermind, I also had to edit the Fallout.ini, not just FalloutPrefs.ini and Fallout_Default.ini
dubiousintent
It would seem you aren't using "Mod Organizer" with FNV then. But be sure you are looking in the folder where the game itself is installed; not the "Users" folder. Otherwise, please see the 'Mod Managers' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article for various tutorials on the various managers. (I use Wrye Flash, myself.) Edit: I see you fixed it while I was replying. Good. I hope you kept a backup of the original "default" INI before you changed it. That's always a good idea for reference later on. If you do that, it becomes reasonable to modify all three files just so they stay in "synch". "Default" is only used to rebuild that other two when they aren't present. -Dubious- Edited May 31, 2017 by dubiousintent
