Gaardian
Sorry if this has been posted before but couldn't find anything. My google-fu is weak. Long Story short. I got the GOG version of FNV because it had the DLCs and my steam version didn't. I am running into the issue that some of my mods are not working because you need the 4GB patcher for NVSE and ENB to run.The issue I am running into is apparently there is no 4GB patcher for non-steam version because pirates or something. Am I screwed? While the game is still fun, there was quite a few visual enhancements that really made the game shine. Any help is appreciated. dubiousintent
The 4GB patchers here are specifically designed to deal with Steam issues. For more general (non-steam) 4GB patching, see the "2-4GB game memory limits and solutions" article in my signature. "CFF Explorer" works with anything, including DLLs. No experience with using them on the GOG.COM version, though. (Until your post I wasn't aware there was one.) -Dubious- Edited June 2, 2017 by dubiousintent
Gaardian
Thanks your input. I think the GOG version literally is a couple days old. So there is a little unknown when it comes to modding it. By in large all my mods work except the ones that require NVSE and 4GB Edited June 2, 2017 by Gaardian
Gaardian
I tried the CFF explorer. It doesn't work either.
hlp
I have to update NVSE, and I trust RoyBatty to update the 4GB loader quite soon.

vulchor
I would like to know if GOG version still works on XP 32 bits. No, it doesn't work by default. GOG broke compatibility with Windows XP by adding Galaxy features. There's a workaround to it involving taking the steam dlls from a legit source and renaming them. Doing this though will probably break GOG Galaxy integration, but since Galaxy doesn't run on Win XP any longer I suppose that doesn't matter to you. Mind you if you care about achievements and cloud saving, those are Galaxy only features as well. Check the game release thread on the GOG forums for more info. The GOG version already has a 4GB patch added to it, that's why you can't get any of the patches, even manual patching, to work. The NVSE issue does need to be addressed, however. dubiousintent
@vulchor: Thanks for that information (and about the XP workaround). I'll be adding it to our "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide so we don't lose it when the thread scrolls. -Dubious- Edited June 5, 2017 by dubiousintent
