Balladeer Posted June 2, 2017 Share Posted June 2, 2017 I realized today while playing the Sad Tale of the Grossbart Brother's side quest that it would be nice to have the flare bombs of Witcher 2. I'm using the mod that removes the artificial player lighting which is nice as its more realistic and makes torches and Cat potion more useful/purposeful. However while fighting these guys in the Grotto I found that I did not like fighting them while under the influence of Cat as they become heat signatures and are kind of hard to see to make out what footwork they are using in a fight. A torch prevents me from blocking and only attack is available and I don't care to use the block with torch mod. It'd be so nice to be able to drop a flare bomb in the middle of the floor and then go at it or toss one down some dark hole or cave to light my way. If this weren't possible I also thought it would be nice to be able to toss our torches into an area to light it up upon which we could then later retrieve it. For larger quest type fights I prefer to be able to fight by the light of some sort of light source as opposed to Cat. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
