Trying to add item to lydia's inven.

So the problem is this: I downloaded a mod/outfit for Lydia, I want her to where it by default in my own mod. I managed to undress her steel armor but when I try to put the outfit on her either through her default armor set or adding it to her inven. in creation kit, it doesn't work. I think the biggest problem I have is explained in a warning message upon loading creation kit: unable to find container object (020058f4) on owner object "house carl whiterun".
