Gormashnit
So I really don't like the workshop. It has a confusing layout, you can't parse the multitude of mods easily and I it's too "corporate" and "kiddy" even if made by Valve. I know I'll be fine on the Nexus but I'm wondering if you guys host all the mods posted directly to the workshop on here? Basically will the only mods on the nexus be from nexus users? or will all the CK users be contributing? Cheers-
buddah
Mod authors decide where to host their mods, if the want them here they will post them here. We don't upload any work that is not our own. Buddah
David Brasher
Steam Workshop has serious issues. I wanted to upload a mod the other day, but there was a little problem with it and the mod had to be manually packaged. Guess what? No manually packaged mods are allowed on Steam Workshop. Unless Steam Workshop changes its system, it will never be able to compete with the Nexus and TES Alliance.
micalov
Mod authors themselves post there mods here, they can also host them on CW workshops if they wish. Although it does seem that quite a few are against Steam Workshops going by the modders forum and Mods can be uploaded to Steam Workshops with out the authors permissions and Steam either seem to nt care or be super slow at acting and removing. In the end most mods will probably be here and very few mods that are on Steam Workshop will probably not be posting on the Nexus since it offers way better support and control then Steam Workshops.
