THERE IS SPOILERS IN THIS STORY TO OBLIVION

*Note: Days = Chapters. All chapters are LONG. The fourth chapter is 10k characters! Also, there is stuff here that is different from the game cause I felt the like putting it in a different way. Also, feel free to post any comments.

*Note2: All chapters will be posted in different posts. I don't like putting it in one big one, as it messes with my eyes.

Day 1: Free at last, with a heavy burden.

Sunlight! Finally, Im out of the forsaken sewers and out of the Imperial Prison. Though, with two brave souls dead inside, I wonder how Baurus will take care of Uriel's body, with the assassins and all. He has Glenroy with him, so the body will be safe for its funeral.

Renault though, his dead, near the jail cell I was in. I didn't really like her all that much, though, she sacrificed herself to protect the Emperor. Her blade though, will be put into the Blade's Hall of Fame, or something like that.

I though, wonder what exactly the Uriel wanted me to do with this amulet. He said "Take it to Jauffre." as he was saying his last words. Sadly, when he told me the location, an assassin's misfired arrow killed him. As he died, he told me "Find the lost heir..." I guess Jauffre knows who and where this last heir is. I should honor this dead emperor's last wish and find Jauffre and the heir to the throne of Cyrodiil.

Baurus came as Uriel died, and asked me where the amulet was. I told him that he gave it to me. He gave me the keys to the sewers and told me to go and find Jauffre. He didn't know anything about any lost heir sadly.

On my way out, I didn't encounter any assassins. Which is fine for me. Their assassins, their job was to kill Uriel, right? They didn't have a need for me. Unless they knew I have the Amulet...

I exited the sewers with only having to fight goblins and rats, with only couple of bruises. As I exited the sewers, I found my old sword, the one my father gave to me as a means of protecting my sheep. The guards must of dropped it on the way out when they were gonna haul my gear off to sell when I was imprisoned. I picked up the sword, remembering the weight of it. I slashed the air a couple of times, then I strapped it to my belt. And I left the prison and sewers for the first time in weeks.

Ah, the beauty of Cyrodiil, how it greeted me, with its sunshine and mountains. I stood there in amazement of the landscape, when I saw peculiar ruins. From my days of sheparding, my father told me these were Ayleid Ruins. He said that these hold great treasures and deadly traps, and are often home to vampires, bandits, and undead. Which is reason one why he doesn't want me near those., even though I can handle the perils, being a somewhat good transmuter. But what I saw is, across the small gap of water in front of me, was a camp.

I rushed to the camp, only to find myself in the middle of a camp of bandits. One of the bandits was skilled with the bow, two of them had maces, and the last one, possibly the leader, had a Iron Katana. I jumped behind one of the ruined walls, and took a bone out of my backpack and transmuted it. I was never really good at summoning entities, usually, they come without a limb or two. But this time, I was able to make a skeleton, complete with a bone ax and shield. The skeleton charged at the group of bandits wielding maces. I stood back and, relying on what knowledge I have of Destruction, I fired a fireball at the archer. She redirected her fire at me, and an arrow whizzed by me.

Knowing my skeleton wouldn't last long, I decided to take out the archer, who was coming around the wall. With one fell swoop of my sword, the archer fell to the ground, bleeding. Thankfully, before being purged, the skeleton killed one of the mace wielding bandits. Now, just me and the mace wielding bandit. The bandit charged straight at me, and again, relying on my Destruction skills, I froze him when he got close. He staggered back, and I slew him with two slices.

When their leader saw she was the only one left, she charged at me. Sadly, all I could do was dodge backwards, and slash back. She was a skilled warrior. She dodged, parry, and blocked my attacks. Every couple of seconds though, she was able to slash me. Knowing that I can't hold out much longer like this, I recalled on my skills with the longsword, and dropping my shield, I slashed her with all my might. She flew to the side, hitting the wall and crumpling up.

Holding my arm, I went to their tent, and lied down in it, exhausted. I slept in their tent, and when I woke up, I decided to eat, and head up to the Imperial City for the night. I jogged up the hill, and into the Market District. I found the inn named "Merchant's Inn", paid the Innkeeper 20 Gold. I went up the stairs, found a bed, and slept a comfortable night, the most comfy one I had in weeks.

Feel free to post now. Chapter One is done. I will post Chapter 2 later.

Spoilers for Sidequest in Oblivion

Day 2: Blackwater Float

I awoke from my sleep from the sound of travellers laughing and shouting, and from the clash of dishes. I walk down the stairs and I see the early morning light flowing through the windows. I sat down at a table and ate what I think was Venison, with some Carrots and a glass of water.

I walk out of the inn, and the first thing I see is a corpse of a warrior, crumpled agaisnt a statue. My, how the Imperial City changed since I been thrown into prison. The buildings were tall and magnificant. All of them were two floors high, and the city was bustling with people. Seemed like everyone was nice and happy, but thats what confused me the most.

Who would kill this warrior here? Who could actually? She was equiped with gear possibly found only in old forts and Ayleid Ruins. Dwemer Cuirass, Orcish Boots, Steel longsword.... Till a man came up to me and told me to back away. He told me, that he was the leading officer here, and he is Hieromnyus Lex. I walked back a few steps as he picked up the body with the help of some Imperial Guards. "Must of been the Dark Brotherhood..." Lex muttered as he walked away. Dark Brotherhood... They could of been behind the murder of Uriel Septim..

Getting that out of my mind, I headed to the Arena district, to see if it was finished during my time imprisoned. I was amazed of how elaborate it is.... Though... It is kinda bloody inside. They apparently drain blood from the fallen combatants into the "Bloodworks".

I decided to head to the Waterfront, to see if it changed any. When I got there, it was teemed with beggars. Nothing changed here... Except there was a new boat here, named "The Bloated Float". It was an boat inn apparently. Tired of traveling all around the city, I decided to take a rest inside. I went to the Innkeeper, whoms name was Ormill, payed him 10 Gold, and went down below the deck. I took an hour long rest.

I awoke from my rest when I heard the boat moving agaisnt waves! The boat was out on the river! I walked out of the room where I was confronted by an armed person named "Lynch". According to him, he is part of the Blackwater Gang. Knowing that he is a thief, I wasted no time in drawing my sword to meet his sword. After a couple of bouts, I knocked his sword out of his hand and slew him with a slash through the abdomenm.

I searched his body, and found a note. The note was for Lynch, to tell him of the Blackwater's plans from their leader, Selene. He was to make sure he secured to bottom deck and to lock up the bouncer. I walked to the stairs and heard someone banging on a door directly to my right. I unlocked the door, and inside was an orc. I couldn't catch his name, but he was the bouncer the note talked about.

Heading up on stairs, I confronted another gang member. This one, was named Minx. She, rather angered about me being here, started attacking me. She, unlike Lynch, was a tad more skilled in her weapon, but she also fell quickly. I checked her body, and I found a key to the upper deck, and a note, talking about the Golden Galleon. I suppose they hijacked the Bloated Float to find this Golden Galleon. The note also said they planned this three days ago, and they fromed the gang three monthes ago.

Other then the key and note, nothing else was founded interesting, and I put hers and Lynch's swords on the table next to me. I headed up the stairs, unlocked the door, and found the third member, Wrath.

He asked me who I was, and I, lying to him, told him I was part of the gang. He was suprised, and asked me when the gang was formed, and I told him three monthes ago. He then went onto cursing Selena, and asked me where were Minx and Lynch. Being the nice and honest guy, I told him they were dead. He took a liking to this, and figured that if I were dead, he would only have to split the treasure with Selena.

He dashed from the helm of the ship and attacked me. I was thrown agaisnt the wall by the force of his tackle, and by the time I got up and had my weapon up, he was already trying to make his way to the middle deck. I bashed him away from the door with my shield. I told him that if he wants down, he has to get through me. He charged at me, and as he got close, I sent a bolt of fire into his chest, knocking him back some. I quickly jumped and slashed his chest as I came down. He fell agaisnt the railing of the ship and fell off.

"Mercy!" He yelled as he hanged on. I wasn't too intent on letting him go though. I froze his hands, and smashed them with my boots, making him plumment to his swim with the sharks and slaughterfish.

I looked around and I found a key at the wheel. On it, it said "Captain's Room". I took the key and went to the stairs, when I see Wrath's sword. He had a Silver Longsword. I figured since he had no hands, he wouldn't need it anymore. I strapped it to my back and went downstairs.

When I entered the Captain's Room, I was confronted by Selena, the ringleader of the gang. I told her I was here to join the gang, lying of course. She told me I couldn't, as the gang is suppose to be for only four people only. I told her what I found out about her gang and her plans. She asked me how I know about this, and I replied "From your gang members." She was suprised. She knew her members wouldn't just tell me, I had to kill them. She knew that if she attacked me, I would quickly bring her to her demise.

She surrendered, and Ormill told me to put her in the Private Bedroom to be locked in there till we get back to the Imperial City. I asked him about the "Gold Galleon" and he told me the story was a complete fake to bring in more customers. I headed down to my bedroom, and went to sleep. The sun has setted when I fought Wrath, and I was tired.

When I awoke, I found the boat no longer sailing, and was back at the Waterfront. Knowing this, I headed back to Ormill. He thanked me for saving them, and gave me 75 Gold. He told me Selena was already takened by the guards, and there would be no more of this "Gold Galleon" story. He also told me that Jauffre lived at the Weynon Priory. Knowing this, I could bring the amulet to him soon...

One of my favorite sidequests in the game, so I had to =D.

Don't take this the wrong way, but is English your first language?

If so, your entry's decent enough, but I'd suggest you pay attention to grammar. Starting with a sentence like "THERE IS SPOILERS IN THIS STORY TO OBLIVION" really made me think twice about reading the rest.

If not, you could definitely afford to bone up on a few basics. The stories have substance, but the way in which you choose to phrase some of these events confounds me.

Your journal's okay, but could be much better.

Yeah, English IS my first language. But usually the times I write these is at night, where Im half awake. But I have been going over them before I posted them here, usually where I see a mistake. But, Im human, so I can't catch all of them, especially when I do post these, is at night. But thanks for the suggestions, I will try to spend a tad more time reading them over >_>;. But most of these are being copy-pasta from the other forums. So yeah.

English was never my best class XD.

Next Chapter in a couple of hours.

BIG CHAPTER! This is technically Chapters 3 and 4!

And of course, Spoiler Alert!

Day 4: The Challenge and The Crusade

I arrive at Weyon Priory with many cuts and bruises. Not quite a good travel. The weather was bad, the wolves decided to go along the path, and bandits thought I was easy pickings.

I knocked on the door of Jauffre's house. A monk, by the looks of his clothing, answered the door. "What do you want?" asked the monk as he opened the door.

"I am looking for a man named Jauffre. For a matter about Uriel." I replied.

"Your one of 'em assassins aren't you? He ain't here." the monk shouted.

"Er, no, Im not."

"Really eh? Bring me proof you are not with 'em assassins. Bring me something I lost at Fort Redwater, located along the Panther River. Along with the head of a vampire. Then I'll trust ya."

"What was it you lost?" I asked, wondering why he will send me on such a perilous, and mudane, journey.

"A Dwemer Claymore. Made of the finest materials one can find." He replied as he scratched his head.

Panther River. Its a Strange river, never know whats lurking over there. From my time in Imperial City, it held many mines, caves, and forts along its course.

Not to mention slave traders lurk around there....

While I was traveling along the path to Panther River, I saw a man up ahead guiding two horses. I go up to him, and asked if I could use one of his horses to get where I was going. I introduced myself, and he told me his name was Midas and he was on his way to the Imperial City.

I told him I was on my way to Fort Redwater.

"That place is many days away. Why are you going there?" he asked.

"Im looking for something, so I can see the man named Jauffre back in Weyon Priory."

"Ah, Jauffre. Quite the fellow. By the way, do you know what the time is?"

I wasn't too sure what the time was, so I looked up to see where the moon was and....

There was a sound of thunder....

A few hours later, I opened my eyes and saw that I was no longer on the path to the Imperial City. Im sitting agaisnt some ruined wall in the midst of a forest. I searched through my possesions, and found that I was missing ten gold! I was about to curse out, when I see a note and a book. I opened the note and in it was written:

"You are a great traveling companion Kairen. You may find yourself at your destination ten gold less, but I repayed you

with a book I wrote called "Mark and Recall". Read this book, and you will learn a great spell.

-Midas

P.S. Come see me at the Imperial City store "Midas' Magic" in the Arcane University. You can learn more great spells from me there."

Thanks to Midas, it is still night of the same day, and Im now at Fort Redwater. I enter the ruins, and I see a gate, which beyond it, was

three skeletons. No vampires so far. I walked through the pathway to my right, and I see a bedroll in the room ahead. I started walking towards it, when I activated a trap! I dodged it thankfully, with only a few injuries on my arm.

I walked past the trap and I see a humanoid in an enclave above the bedroll.

"Good evening... I see someone has come for me.." said the humanoid.

I looked closer and saw two fanged teeth. Vampire...

I wasted no time in drawing out a bone and transmuting it into a skeleton and drawing my blade. The vampire jumped down and drew out her longsword and shield. She purged the skeleton quite fast, and before I knew it, I was blocking her blade. I jumped back and countered with a forward slash, which she blocked easily. She then stabbed me straight in the stomach with her sword.

I fell onto the ground, with blood gushing under me, and fainted...

I awake from a terrible nightmare, gasping for air. I saw that the vampire is no longer here and that my wound is is bandaged up. I

felt my neck, and there were two bite marks.

She bit me! I contracted Poryphic Hemophillia from her. If I don't cure it anytime soon, I will become a vampire! I searched around

my possesions, and found my Mortar and Pestle. I then looked around and saw some flowers. Sage Flowers! I quickly grabbed the petals and some of my healing potions, and put them together into the Mortar, and smashed them into a liquid with the Pestle.

I drank the liquid.

I put my hand onto the bite marks, and waited... For five minutes nothing happened. Then the bite marks faded away. The potion

worked! I got up, and drank some more of my healing potions to heal my wound. I looked around and found the Dwemer Claymore!

I headed back to the entrance and when I got there the vampire was back!

Knowing that my Iron Longsword and the claymore wouldn't slay her, I searched my bags for Garlic when a portal appeared beside me and a silver sword fell out. Wrath's Silver Sword! I grabbed it, and on it was a note!

"I thought you might be needing this Kairen. The Silver Longsword you won from Wrath. I enchanted some Undead-slaying

properties for you.

-Ormill

P.S. Midas enchanted this for you."

"Seems like you have awaken. But you refused my gift! How sad. No sword will help you now! Die mortal!" the vampire shouted as she charged.

I charged at her, and we both slashed at each other's head....

Unlike her, Im not a bad aim.

I exited the fort, only to walk a few steps and faint..

I awoke to the glaring sunlight. Strange thing is, you don't find this much sunlight in the Dark Forests... Rubbing my eyes, I saw that I wasn't even close to the Panther River anymore. I was in a town.

"Your awake!" a voice called out.

I looked around and I see a man in steel armor waving at me. I felt extreme joy at who I saw...

It was an old friend of mine, Karon Ryjuke. I was glad to see him.

"Karon! It has been a long time! The last time I saw you was back at the Ryjuke Clan barracks. What are you doing out here in the Dark

Forest?"

"Dark Forest? This is Sharok Kan. Town of the Ryjuke Clan. We found you outside a fort in the Dark Forests as we were looking for

the Lycanthrope. You suffered some heavy blows when we found you." Karon replied. "You sure your alright?"

"Yeah, Im fine."

I got up and found that my stomach is only scarred and the Claymore and the head was still in my bag. I read the book Midas gave me, and from it, I learned how to recall back to places I have seen or been to.

"Karon, it is great seeing you again, but I need to leave. I have to go back to Weyon Priory.

"Let us come with you, knowing you, you would just get into trouble again." Karon replied.

I laughed with him and replied "Alright!".

At sunset, I recalled myself back to Weyon Priory, along with Karon and four of his Ryjuke Archers. I went back to the house of Jauffre,

and knocked on the door. The same monk as before answered the door, and before he asked, I gave him the head and his claymore.

"Eh what? Your back? With my claymore and the head of that she-vampire that took it! You friend, are no assassin. Come in!"

"Great, but I need to see Jauffre about a private matter..."

"You can't be his son haha.."

"Im not."

"Oh alright, hes upstairs to the right."

I walked up the stairs, and opened the room door where I saw another monk infront of a desk.

"Jauffre?"

"That is me, what do you need young one?"

"I came to bring you this amulet. Uriel sent me here with his final words, along with this letter."

"Th-! That Amulet! Thats the Emperor's amulet! The Amulet of Kings! Show me the letter!"

I hand Jauffre the letter, and he read aloud:

"Take this amulet and letter to Jauffre, he will tell you where my lost son is. Close shut the jaws of Oblivion...

-Uriel Septim

Jauffre stood there holding the letter, then rushed to a chest and unlocked it.

"The illegitmate son is a man named Martin. He is in Kvatch. Supply yourself from this chest and go! Bring Martin here!"

I took what I needed from the chest, and a book called "The Westren Cities of Cyrodiil". I walked down the stairs, and came face to face with the first monk.

"Sorry for the test, I thought you would be one of dem assassins. Have my Dwemer Claymore for your troubles."

"Thank you." I replied.

I left the house, and told Karon that we are leaving for Kvatch. I went through the pages of the book till I found a picture of Kvatch from the outside. With that picture in mind, I recalled everyone to there.

What we saw in front of us was nothing like the picture. What we saw a a burning castle. A citizen of Kvatch came running from the burning town, telling us all to run, the gods forsakened us!

We rushed up the hillside to the entrance where we found Kvatch guards holding off creatures I never seen in my lifetime, A guard came to me and told me to stand back. I asked him who he was, and he told me he was Savlian Mattius, captain of the Kvatch Guard.

"These hellspawned Daedra has swarmed Kvatch! My hometown! My goddamn hometown! We couldn't be any more unprepared! A gate appeared right outside and we couldn't do a damn thing about it! Most of the civillians are dead, but some escaped, and we are holding the Daedra off for them."

"Let us help. We will go into the gate and stop them!" I replied.

"Alright. We will hold them off on this side!" He shouted back.

Karok, his four archers, and I entered the gate to the planes of Oblivion...

Notes: At first, I was gonna put several chapters into the story on Kairen's travels to Fort Redwater, but a friend of mine put Midas' Magic onto my computer. At first, I was skeptical of it, but after seeing some videos on it and the work Xilver put into it, I felt it deserved place into the story for being one of the greatest mods I downloaded.

Note2: All credits of Midas' Magic and Midas NPC goes to Xilver the creator. Kudos!

Note3: I know Sage flower doesn't have the properties to cure disease, but I was not able to check at the time. Cookie to who ever finds what it was that does. I think its inside Arcane Uni XD.

Note4: There is no book named "Mark and Recall". Least not that I know of. Its just a filler object that I needed so I can explain Kairen Fast-traveling as Recall XD.

Note5: This chapter took longer then I said it would. Mainly cause I repaired most, if not, all of the spelling, typos, and such from the original!

Pretty nice, looks like I've got a rival :)

I think this was supposed to be in the 'Roleplaying' section.

Buddah said The Lounge when I asked him XD.
