Zwor
Woohoo! Update finally, been busy. Sorry for the delay! This is the unedited version. There has been no changes or fixes from the original. Too tired atm. Spoilers! Day 5: Into the Flames Upon entering Oblivion, I saw what was a massive bridge connecting to a castle over a river of lava. The sight of it comes from the very nightmares of reality, as if Tamriel has came to the end of its life. I felt that my companions were also filled with terror, as one of the archers was barely holding onto his bow... We walked across the plains where we encounted small groups of Daedra fighting a Kvatch Guard. After we dispatched the daedra, I told the guard to go back to barricades to Matius. We continued along the pathway when Daedra on the hill sent a rockslide downwards towards us. Me, Karon, and two archers survived. The rest wern't so lucky. We reached what was a short bridge tilted over slightly. What was on it was a being made of purely flame with metal on it. I grabbed the Dwemer Claymore off my back, and rushed forward with Karon. She blasted Karon in the arm with a ball of fire as I swooped in with a strong slash. She punched me backward a few steps, towards the lava. She prepared a Fireball in her palm, in front of my face. I closed my eyes, waiting for the oncoming fire to incinerate, when I hear a loud scream. I opened my eyes and I see the flame being writhing in pain with an arrow pierced in her chest. "Close one there!" Karon yelled, with a Silver Bow out. "Thanks Karon." I replied back, grabbing my sword. With the Silver Arrow in her, I took one strike at her and she fell to the drown, turning into ash and Firesalt. We continued our trek to the Daedra fortress, only encountering these strange traps and some Scamps. We arrive at the portal, and upon entering, we were greeted with some Scamps and Daedra. We take them out, and continued upward. In one of the rooms, after killing the Daedra, I noticed one of the enemies dropped its mace. I was about to pick it up when one of the archers pushed me away from it. Blood splattered on to me as I crawl back, tarrified of what happened. The archer was imapaled by spikes coming out of the walls. I screamed, and felt sorrow for the brave archer, who saved my life. I regained my bearings and, with Karon, took the body off the spikes and laid it agaisnt the wall. We entered a portal, leading outside ontop of a long, narrow bridge. We ran across and upon entering the portal on the other side, we hear screams coming from above us. We dashed up and saw a Daedra Churl infront of a cage with an Imperial inside. I, taking the advantage of stealth, took out the Churl before it noticed me with a quick slash to the head. The prisoner told us the only way to close the gate was to take the Sigil Stone. We thanked the prisoner and on our way down, our remaining archer mistepped and fell down through the tower, landing on spikes protuding on the ground, headfirst. We continued towards the Sigil Stone, and after the loss our last companion, me and Karon reached the Sigilum Room, where a large group of Daedra was waiting for us. Knowing that we can't survive head on, we dashed towards to steps of the stairs and rushed to the top of the room. We saw the Sigil Stone, guarded by two of the flaming beings. Using Silver arrows to back me up, we defeated these beings, later found out as "Flame Atronachs", and we took the Sigil Stone. As we grabbed it, the who room was engulfed in flames, and before we knew it, we were back in front of Kvatch with the Oblivion Gate closed. Matius, rushed to us, and congradulated us on closing the gate. "We have the upper hand now! For Kvatch!" he yelled as we entered the Kvatch gate. Upon entering the ruins, we were horrified of how bad the shape of Kvatch is. It is basicly smoldering ruins. Though, we were not the only ones. We entered and found more Daedra Churls. Though, the battle was fierce, we pulled through with no casulties. We entered the chapel, and Matius ordered all civilians to leave Kvatch. Among them, I saw Martin. "Brother Martin, I need to speak to you." "Oh, alright." he replied. We talked, and after telling him that he is Uriel's son and he is the next emperor, he agreed to come with me to Weyon Priory. I told him to go with Karon to the camp at the base of the hill, as I will be pushing the final push to regain Kvatch with Matius. Matius and I, along with the other guards, headed out to the courtyard of the castle, where we encountered more Churls. After the battle, we went to the gate, and to our disadvante, it was locked. "Damn. The gate into the castle is locked. Kairen, I need to you go to Irich Berian back in the Chapel and have him give you the keys to the North Tower. From there, unlock the gate. Hurry! Time is of the essence!" Matius ordered at me. I dashed across the courtyard and entered the chapel. I met with Irich in there. After I told him Matius' orders, he felt he should lead me to the the tower. I had no choice, so I had to let him. Before we left though, Imperial Legion soldiers saw the ruins from their patrol on the Gold Road, and decided to help us reclaim Kvatch. We entered the Chapel Undercroft, where we encountered Hell Hounds. We had some trouble fighting in the small quarters, and sadly Irich died fighting them. I took his key, and ran out of the undercroft, and into the burning Kvatch. Other then the Churls and the occasional Hell Hounds and Flame Atronachs, we encountered nothing too strong and we got by with no casulties. We got to the North Tower and I opened the gate, which reunited us with Matius, whom was fighting Flame Atronachs and a couple of Hell Hounds. The battle in the courtyard, did not go without casulties. One of the guards fell to a miss of my sword and fell onto the ground, with her blood on my sword. I staggered back with my eyes wide opened at my blade, horrified at myself for doing such thing. Matius shaked me out of it. "Don't beat yourself up Kairen. There isn't a war without accidental casulties. Stand up and fight, or we will all die." I stood up and with all my might, I threw my claymore into one of the Flame Atronachs, instantly killing it. We entered into the palace, slaying any Daedra we come across with relative ease. One of the Imperial Legion soldiers though, was incinerated by a Flame Atronach. Myself and the rest of the soldiers rushed into the Counts room, where we saw the last Daedra. We slew it, and saw the body of the Count. Knowing Matius' orders, I took the Signet Ring. We rushed back to the entrance. I returned to Matius at the Courtyard and gave him the Signet Ring. "Im done with fighting now. Kvatch was rebuilt from ruins once, and it will again. Have this as a thank you for helping us Kairen." He took off his Kvatch chainmail and gave it to me. "Thank you friend." I went to the camp outisde the walls, and with Karon and Martin, I recalled back to Weyon Priory... I can't say this is the best chapter I have typed, but this is one of the good ones so far XD. Also, I will be working on typing Day 6 tomorrow, as so far in the game, Kairen would be meeting someone in Arcane Uni for first time. After Day 6 is posted, I MIGHT edit this one to be in better grammar and stuff.
IndorilTheGreat
Hmmm... I think you should edit it more, so there are "twists." Because right now, it seems as if I'm reading a Strategy Guide or something. Also I completed these quests, and it's not very exciting when I know exactly what's going to happen. Just throw a few "new" things in there. Otherwise it looks good! :D
