Color me Newbie

Hello Crew,

 

I haven't been lurking for too long on here, just a few months. I've been playing the Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 with all of your mods and I gotta admit, they are much better than the vanilla version of the game [thank you Bethesda for not going 100]. Love all of your work!

 

Currently been playing in between work, school, and sleep cycles. Going to school to design games, I'm sure you hear that a lot though. If I would have to claim my level of experience, I would have to say it is between brand new and moderate. I have some background in the field, but I have been away from it for about 5 - 7 years. So I'm not really up to date on the new technologies that's come around since then. Doing a crash course here for practice and attaining knowledge.

 

Now that the introductions are out of the way, I wanted to share what I had planned on doing during my time here.

 

Starting off with a couple of customized followers [one is from a custom race mod] for Skyrim, give them their own separate quests that eventually run together to build on an even bigger story that involves another npc that may be recruited as a follower later on. I have more planned, but I think I'll be satisfied just making it to that point.

 

I was planning on keeping it under wraps for a surprise, but, naturally, I'm running into some issues. Looking up some maps to learn ways around those road blocks, if you know what I mean. If anybody is interested in guiding me in the right direction and not doing it for me, that would be awesome!
