DAMM not finding overrided

I looked at all the other threads, and nobody seems to have this exact problem. When I put override based mods into DAMM's override folder, then run it, they don't appear in DAMM whatsoever. I'm pretty sure i Set up DAMM correctly.

Edit: dragging and dropping the files into DAMM results in "*filename* is not a dazip or override"

First question: by DAMM, do you mean DAO-Modmanager or... something else?

Second question: Are the mods override archives (i.e., a contained package of files formated to be installed with DAO-Modmanager, with an '.override' extension), or regular ol' overrides, as in 'a bunch of files in a folder that can be manually installed to the MyDocuments override folder'?

Yeah, sorry, i'm talking about DAO-Modmanager. I'm honestly not sure which, I extracted them (their extension for me is 7zip) to the modmanager override folder, though they seem to turn into folders afterwards.

As far as I can recall, DAO-Modmanager doesn't handle 'regular' override mods (the kind that are just folders); it only installs the proprietary .override packages and DAzips.

Just add the manual override to the correct folder (usually something like Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override, though that path may be slightly off). If you keep the files in a folder within the override folder, it's easy to 'manage' uninstalling and such.

Or, if you really really want to use the DAO-ModManager to install everything, you can create .override archive, with the 'Override creator' function of that utility. (My tutorial-of-sorts on that.)
