Tamujiin Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Okay, Just so yah know my mods are not ready yet. And the screen shots i want to release have nothing to do with them. I have been researching this and planet elderscrolls to get the feel of what people like. Armor & weapons, Quests with decent rewards, Envirmental stuff, sexy stuff, ( not in any particular order.) these i belive are what we download the most. So i was getting to looking around the site and i noticed this little screenshot area, didnt evennotice and i figured what the hell lets make some screenies. I have no problem with that, just cant figure out how to get from bitmap to JPEGformat. ( help would earn you a kudos ) But that i not why i am gonna blow your mind. I was F-in around making screenies of my character's and i got one of my character conan ( yes, yes yes,) and i rrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyyy want to post it. think ya'll will love it. If yer a conan fan. I also mad a Drizzt and an Elimenster for you D&D fans. Plus some screenies of Combat in the air with akantosh's mount. And i really Really want to share them with the community. To those who help i wish i could give you TEN kudos, no 50 kudos....................Thanks! My From scratch armor mod wont be out till probably begging of june......i have come to a problem. GenghisKhanIT Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 To convert from BMP to JPG a lot of free s/w is available. - If you have WinXP you can use Paint, it is provided with the OS. - ACDSee (Trial)- GIMP- ReaJPEG Of course I have not used all of them, but usually the operation is more or less the same: open the .BMP image with the application, click "Save as..." and select JPG as file type.Some s/ws provide option to balance compression / quality. stephanie Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Windows 'Paint' works fine. It's been in every Windows version since Win95. You can also resize a pic with Paint, and when you save the file (jpg), it gets compressed a bit so it won't be too big for your internet connection to handle. I prefer Photoshop for more involved stuf, but The Gimp is also a good alternative ... :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
