seeker0003
I have a simple mod I put together myself. Alters geralt_stats.xml and geralt_skills.xml, with one of the most obvious changes being 9K weight limit change. I've built it before with the Modkit, it's worked as intended before. Recently, I came back to Witcher 3 after a few months of not playing, last time was slightly before GOTY was released. So, mod updating. Among downloading updates to other mods, I also repacked my own mod using the same batch process that has worked dozens of times before. And, nothing. Game loads, but the most obvious sign of failure is having default 60 weight limit. All other mods appear to be working as intended. I've tried repacking my mod several times. I've updated the Modkit to 1.3 and rebuilt again. I've attempted to test as a solo mod. I've remade the mod from scratch using files from a newly uncooked game. As a last ditch effort, I did a full reinstall of Witcher 3, and did a final test to see if the mod data got loaded, and nada. Game loads, no obvious issues other than a complete failure to use the mod files. I've used quickbms to extract the mod, and the blob0.bundle files are correct. I don't know how to test metadata.store, so I don't know if the issue is there, or if it even could. I know that Witcher 3 can work with mods that make changes to these files, because I downloaded the 9000 weight limit mod and it works just fine. Something has to be going wrong somewhere in the build process, but I have no idea what, or why, or how. I'm at a loss on how to even begin to fix this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Edit: I am an idiot. When I did the rebuild I screwed up the file structure, moving up the files one level. No wonder it was failing. Feel free to laugh at my stupidity, and then move on.
