SHazardous Posted February 17, 2012 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Those of you that have played Fallout 2 know you couldn't skin geckos for their hides without the perk you got from someone you saved -he teaches player how to do it. Would be great immersion adding to have similar thing to FONV too. The way it is now its too way easy to get them. I mean how many really knows hot to skin an animal properly... without someone teaching or by learning with practice. Trial and error. There could be 2 ways of acquiring said skill. At certain level to just by choosing perk when leveling...with high enough survival skill. Or by someone teaching the skill.... maybe after some kind of mission. Although survival skill should probably be high enough too. Also player should have knife in inventory to be able to skin animals. Also I think brahmins and bighorners should skinnable too.
