ReflectedPower
EDIT: The issue has been solved. Going into Nifskope, selecting my mesh and choosing to "Smooth Normals" fixed this issue for me. Hey guys Newbie Skyrim modder here. I've just spent the past several days designing, modeling, texturing and implementing my first weapon into the game. I'm pretty satisfied with my weapon overall. My issue is that when held in-game in a high-light environment, the sides of the meshes used to create the weapon are clearly visible as they diffuse light very differently. I'm not sure how to describe it other than calling them "light-seams". See the image I've included which shows what I'm talking about. It looks fine in dimly lit environments, but high-light environments cause the seems to be clearly visible. I'm unsure what's causing this error. I don't believe it's a mesh problem because I've seen weapons with less vertexs not have this issue, and the weapon looks much better in dim lighting. I've tried remaking the lighting maps several times but I get the same result. (I know the textures could use a lot of work, I've been holding back on serious texturing work because if this is a mesh problem, I don't want to have even more time wasted on texturing it) http://i.imgur.com/BmjF664.png Edited June 6, 2017 by ReflectedPower
