Comartemis
As a personal challenge I've decided to try making a simple Rube Goldberg machine in the SCK. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, think of that old boardgame Mousetrap where you build a super-complex machine with something like 15 different steps that ends with dropping a cage on a mouse. I aim to do something similar in the SCK only I'm trying to turn on a light in three steps or more. Now I have my own ideas as to how I'll do this, but I'm curious as to what a bunch of Skyrim's craziest modders can come up with for a machine like this. Who's got ideas to share and who's actually built something like this before?
smuppet
That is an awesome idea. I saw a few cool one made with Gary's mod on yuotube
Sunnie
It's easy... Use Parent Enable xmarkers to chain together steps/events. You can use an activator that enables an xmarker, that turns on/off some object(s), which in tuen enables another xmarker that turns on/off other stuff, and so on. Mind you it will all happen instantaneously unless you add some kind of delays between the chained parts, but you get the picture.
Rosenzweig
Use physics. Bowls, baskets, pressure plates, et cetera.
Comartemis
That's the idea Rosen, but I'm looking for specifics. I figure I'll start off by running over a switch that trips a spike door trap that kills a draugr that triggers a switch that turns on a torch and get more complicated from there. What I want is to see what sort of crazy machines more experienced modders than I can come up with.
