Strange Skyrim bugs

So, the other day I installed Thuumic, but when I finished the install, it wouldn't let me play Skyrim because it was outdated. So, I was like F*** that sh**, and uninstalled the entire game. Upon reinstalling, I got the mod manager again, and somehow my mods were all still in there.(??) Then, I ran the game, and the first time, the start menu was all.. lavender.. so, I deleted some mods that might cause that, restarted, and then the imperial dragon logo was purple, and all the smoke was blocky and soon filled the entire screen with purple. I loaded a save (how do I still have saves, I deleted the game), and my character's face was black, and a lot of textures were screwed up. Help?

P.S.: When I uninstalled the first time, I stupidly just deleted the entire skyrim folder out of the steamapps, THEN I used the steam uninstall.. not sure if that would interfere.

Start by disabling and then deleting the mods from the mod manager. I don't know if it's built to keep or otherwise preserve installed mods after the game is uninstalled, but you shouldn't be having problems after uninstalling, so it must be doing something. The reason the mods were in the mod manager after getting rid of it is because they were still stored; the same goes for your save files, preferences and such are saved in your documents even after you uninstall.

If getting the mods out of the mod manager doesn't do it, uninstalling will. If it doesn't, I can't help you further anyway. Best of luck.
