Hey,

I recently downloaded FMM, but from the start I haven't been able to use it to launch the game. Whenever I attempt to do so, an Origin error notification pops up stating: "Invalid licence. Reason code = Invalid Cipher (0x0006)." The notification persists, even when launching through Origin, as long as bcrypt.dll remains in MEA's folder. I've reinstalled the game, set FMM to launch as admin, have Origin and MEA up to date, and have attempted nearly every other fix I could find on this thread and others, including those addressing the Cipher error in relation to other Origin games (I've yet to find another person having the same issue with MEA).

Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated. When it comes to modding, I just follow the tutorials, so, aside from that which I have already done, I have no clue how I might address this issue.

Okay, followed all the steps, hit launch, the mod manager shrinks down like it's merging and going to load the game...but nothing happens. The game never loads up. The path is set up to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Andromeda which is the application file. That file will launch the vanilla game when I double click it. But the mod manager being directed to that application file is not launching. I have Windows 10.

I am not getting any error messages. The game just isn't loading up. Task manager confirms this, the Frosty Mod Manager is up but the game does not launch and gives no error.

Any ideas?

Edit to add: I deleted the Mod data file, and it fixed it. Loaded the game right up after that.

Hello :)

I was wondering if anyone knew what to do when you get a pop-up that says "Attempting to load game with no stored profile." when I try to launch the Frosty editor. I have to latest version downloaded. I've already played through the game once. And my saves are still in place, if that makes a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance. :)

I'm having the same Issue but deleting the mod data folder did not resolve the issue, nor did restarting origin or reinstalling the game, C++ and Netframe are all on latest versions

i have 99 problems and all of them are frosty mod menager...

i have tried everything said in this forum, unblocking folders, reinstaling the game, updating the netframework, redistributable, deleting modfolder and the .dll file... the game keeps getting stuck as a background process, every time i uncheck the read only tick for the MEA folder it rechecks it self,am runining as admministrator both frosty and MEA... and i dont get it... is there a way to force the game to launch from the background process or something... any way bored of the game and would like to enrich it with mods for the second playthrough and just not getting a launch is so frustrating.... wish the designer of FMM would help...
