Installing Dynamo ENB over Realistic Mojave ENB

Hi,

I've been having problems trying to install the newest version of Dynamo ENB to replace my old ENB www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47632/?

I first tried using the main file V4 found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53521/? I overwrote all the previous ENB files I had, used the newest d3d9.dll but the game refused to launch at all. I then tried using the beta version found on the same page because I couldn't find ver. 246 of the ENB files on the ENB site, only ver. 278 which i tried and instead I got a weird blue colour overlay over everything and the text displayed at the top left when launching still says I'm running ver. 118 of the ENB files even after deleting and overriding all the old files.

I've been trying to install this for ages and deleted all previous files I installed for the realistic mojave ENB. I just can't figure out for the life of me what's preventing me from installing dynamo properly. I could just reinstall everything but I really don't want to go through the pain of reinstalling all my other mods again...

Please help.

Thanks for the reply

I used ENB/sweetFX remover to get rid of my ENB but launching the game after still shows ENB 118 in the corner.

I read that section but it doesn't mention anything about INI changes. Could you tell me what INI changes to look out for?

Edit: I've now used all of the ENB removers I could listed in that section and none of them detect any ENB-related files (nor can I as far as I can see) but whenever I launch the game I still get ENB V 118 and the game then creates its own enbseries.ini in the main directory.

Hope someone can help me. I've switched ENBs manually before for NV and Skyrim before with no problems but I just can't figure this one out...

To answer your earlier question about INI settings, they are scattered throughout that section of the "Troubleshooting" guide as they differ by circumstance.

"ENB 1 1 8"? You should be using ENB v0.278 with FNV last I knew. Suggest you uninstall everything (the display in the corner indicates you still have ENBoost, at least, installed). Did you remember to remove the "d3d9.dll" file added by ENB to the game root folder (or wherever you placed it)? That's apparently what gives you that "ENB version" display screen in the upper left corner.

Did you remove the Dynamo "renderproperties.ini" file in your "My Documents/My Games/FNV" folder?

Like I said 118 was used with the older ENB which I just couldn't get rid of, I deleted the d3d9.dll in every instance of reinstalling an ENB.

But anyway it was my bad all along. Turns out my 4GB launcher kept picking up the old ENB files from another hard drive where I kept a backup for some weird reason. Mystery solved.

Thanks for taking the time to help out.
