Really (and I mean REALLY) bizare companion bug.

This one involves the companion everyone loves to hate, Preston... buuuuut this is totally bizaro even for him.

 

So I've been playing with Preston for a little while and just hit the Admired affinity level. Time for some dialog yes? Well, whenever I get close enough for him to initiate that I just say "I just need some chems" and it opens up a trade dialog with Preston as a chems merchant.

 

SOMEHOW, SOMEWHERE some pretty seriously wires have been crossed pretty badly. All I can think is that somehow the dialog call for Preston asking to do the 'Admired' reputation chat has become the Sole Survivor asking to see the stock of a chems merchant. (Ohh and he even has stock BTW so... yeah...)

 

I'm... I'm TOTALLY at a loss here... not to mention that it essentually makes Preston unplayable as every time I get close to him it automatically asks to see his chems stock and opens the trade window.

Have since worked out this is an issue from Sim Settlements where Preston was still assigned to a commercial plot in Sanctuary even after I took him with me as a companion.
