New Mod: "The Mid-Grounds"

I am pretty new to modding, but I know quite a few things. What I need help with mainly is scripting, and other tools that I could use (ones that would come in handy).

This mod will involve basically a struggle between "Heaven" (the Over-World), and "hell" (the Under-World). The "Mid-Grounds" is basically the place between that; Cyrodill, in this case.

This mod will involve "new" weapons (basically re-textured originals), and a few new spells, armor, etc.

It will also involve some voice-acting by me! Therefore I need some help on how to do this, like adding facial animations, and matching the voices to the faces. Also with scripting.

Thank you in advance! :thanks:

If you are new to modding, then you will find that the TES Wiki will be an invaluable resource.

Some tools that you could use are:

NifSkope (importing models, applying textures to models)

WyreBash (The swiss army knife of OB modding)

TesGecko (ESP/ESM file management)

The Gimp (Open source version of Photoshop, can be used for textures)

Audacity (Audio Mastering software used for the recording and post production of voice acting)

OBSE (used for expanding on Oblivion's scripting language)

Lip Synch is done in the old 1.1 version of the CS; the feature is broken in the 1.2 version.

I wish you luck and look forward to a release.

Could you please post some links as to where I can find these?

So, I can't do any voice sync.? I'm disappointed... or would it be possible to "roll-back to a previous version?" :ermm:

If so, where can I DL the 1.1 Version?

Audacity

NifSkope

Wyrebash

Tes4Gecko

The Gimp

Construction set, Both 1.2 and 1.0

For using both versions, you could either uninstall/reinstall, or you could do a dual install of Oblivion, which unfortunately I do not know how to do. I want to say there was a tutorial for doing this, but I don't have any links on hand.
