demonblackie
I recently installed a few interesting mods and I've had trouble with the game ever since. The following is the list of mods: *A Quality World Map*DIMONIZED UNP female bodyEnhanced Blood TextureRealistic Lighting with Customization*Realistic Water Textures and TerrainRespectful LydiaSkyUI (with SKSE)Sounds of Skyrim - The DungeonsStatic Mesh Improvement ModWeapons and Armor Fixes * - Installed first and tested at the time, rest was installed in a second wave After installing them, I loaded up my save game, and everything seemed to be fine. I could see the difference with SkyUI and the lighting, and I know the water one worked because I ran around Whiterun a bit checking that one out. I think I might have tested the lighting outside, but I'm not certain. In any case, after I installed the rest, I loaded up my last save game, which I believe was outside in Whiterun. Immediately, it CTD'd. So, I tried to load it again, same result. Loaded a autosave from inside Breezehome, everything seemed fine. (I might have disabled Static Mesh before this, I have a crappy memory.) As soon as I tried to go outside, it CTD'd. So, I disabled everything listed here, back to the core game. Loaded up Breezehome, loaded fine. Went outside, and it didn't CTD, but it loaded with a completely black screen, with character names appearing and not disappearing when the walked across my cursor (although I couldn't see them). I alt-tabbed out and went back in, and the outdoors loaded, but I'm getting a lot of weird particle effects with the smoke and distant fog. At some point in time, I also ended up with an outside where all that loaded was the base terrain, and a handful of models, like the castle, and some distant buildings, and one NPC who was missing his entire midsection. I think at least some of the mods were enabled at the time. Also, when I had disabled a couple of mods to try and narrow down the problem, I ended up with all of my saved files saying they were corrupt, but they loaded alright after I disabled everything and reloaded (although with the above graphical issues). Anyone familiar with this happening to them, and have some explanation, or specific addon that coulda been the cause?
