genmax12 Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 Hello everyone! Ever go through Skyrim and wonder what happend to all the old factions? In lore nothing is really said as to why the Fighters, Mages Guilds and the Knights of the Nine are non-existant. I understand that the Mages Guild would be significantly weaker due to everyone blaming them in lore for the Oblivion Crisis so I can see why it's not big. But what about the Fighters Guild? Why do they not have a presence? In lore it's said that the guild is all over Tamriel! And lastly what of the Glorious Knights of the Nine? After there reformation what happend to them? Why have we not heard anything of them? Well ladies and gentlemen I suggest we put them back to life! Now I myself have 0 experience in modding but I really want to see at least one of these great factions returned. I don't know how much help I'd be modding wise but story and Voicing I could help with a lot! For the Knights of the Nine it could be a simple restoration quest line. Most likely from Ulfric and other Stormcloak supporters as they want Talos worship back in Skyrim. But we could have the player hear if the legend and investigate. Then he/she can start his own pilgramage by visiting each city and the major shrine of which they worship. Then eventually restore the Knights and perhapes a final showdown with the Thalmor? Hell that'd be Amazing no?The Fighters guild I have less input for but again it can be a simple matter of restoring the guild to it's former glory. Perhapes even have them be related to the Companions? These are some Ideas I had and I hope that there are others who'd like to join me and help see any of these brought back to life!
