When the weather turns to this, I want it to be a double edged sword... I can't see hostiles, but they also can't see me, even if I'm not sneaking. I'm just wondering how I might go about this. I know that there are game settings you can tweak to make sneaking easier in certain types of weather, but I'm not sure what settings control detection distance. There has to be something of course, otherwise everything in the world would become aware of you as soon as it spawned. Going into the game settings for the GECK, I see fPerceptionMult... but that seems to me like it has to do with the red tick marks on the compass, and not npc detection abilities. Then there is fAIExteriorSpectatorDetection ....which looks interesting, and I might play with it if I feel brave.
