shayferal
I just downloaded my first ENB and I'm in the process of tweaking it to my liking. But I'm having a problem... The ENB, for whatever reason, just makes my gold plated 1911 look absolutely absurd. Without the ENB effect it's got a nice deep shine to it, but with the ENB it's just ... yellow and white! lol w/ ENB effect https://www.dropbox.com/s/qp6abuuls22pefz/20170613165421_1.jpg?dl=0w/o ENB effect https://www.dropbox.com/s/46uxhslxvk1rhl8/20170613165506_1.jpg?dl=0 What settings would effect this, so I can make that effect less intense
dubiousintent
If you want to adjust settings yourself, see the S.T.E.P. Project ENBSeries INI Guide page, which "is intended as THE comprehensive reference to the functionality of all parameters found within enbseries.ini as it evolves." You may have to experiment a bit. Note that various "pre-sets" make their own adjustments, and some video card adjustments also need to be made. The most common information is found in the 'Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. -Dubious-

shayferal
I can't seem to find the relevant information, I've done a bunch of experimentation but nothing I adjust seems to effect the brightness of the environmental map.
dubiousintent
Not quite clear what you mean by "environmental map". What you see in the HUD, or on the Pipboy "map of the world", or what? Are you aware that the game deliberately has a bright glare in the daytime around the city of Freeside/New Vegas? If that is the problem, it's not directly related to ENB. Please see the 'Issue: Mod makes the Sun too bright off surfaces' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. Otherwise, a screenshot illustrating the problem would be helpful. You will have to host the image elsewhere (like "File Dropper" which doesn't even require you to create an account) and post a link to it here. -Dubious-
shayferal
The problem I'm having is that the reflectivity of my weapons go off the charts with the ENB enabled, and I'm trying to tone that down. ENB offhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/30axgyuwr9x34em/20170624234328_1.jpg?dl=0 ENB onhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/f8ywk5f19klwb01/20170624234349_1.jpg?dl=0 The ENB I'm currently using is called "Cobalt", and previously I had been using a modified version I tweaked. I can't seem to find the settings that effect the reflectivity of my weapons.
dubiousintent
Shot in the dark: Make sure the "enblocal.ini" file "[Memory]" setting "EnableCompression" flag is set to "true". Otherwise suggest you use an ENB manager from the "Issue: Managing Post-Processor (ENB, SweetFX, FXAA) configurations" entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide and try other pre-sets until you find one that doesn't have the issue. Then use a comparison tool like "WinDiff" to see what settings are different between them. -Dubious-
