Creation Kit question: When creating an NPC with a hair or armor mod I

Hey guys,

 

I've asked some authors if I can use some of they're armor or hair mods if I give credit to them of course when making an NPC in the creation kit. However, whenever I try to use a hair mod or armor mod on my NPC it doesn't show up on my NPC in-game. Instead, I get a default skyrim hairstyle or armor. Am I missing something here?

you have to make sure you place your esp after the esp and esm of both the mods you're using

 

both of the mods must be set active

 

if you've done both the things above the mod should work
