Is there a tool that automatically packs my Mod?

I have downloaded and used several mods, from that side everything is pretty hands off. I have the creation kit and the Nexus Mod manager. Can I use either of those tools to package my mod into a file that I can upload to the nexus? I notice a "Create Archive" option in the creation kit, but I can't figure out where it saves the archive.

Thanks!

Ok, now, I'm not trying to make you look stupid... or make me look stupid... But you don't mean "package" and "archive" as in .rar, .zip or .7z ...Or do you?

In that case, you'd need either Winrar, Winzip or 7zip programs, those serve for creating/unpacking archives or any kind. But I'm a bit confused, because I dont know how could you survive so long without having one of those archivers.

I feel stupid asking hehe. The answer may be I need to organize my files and create my own zip manually. I just thought since the Mod Manager downloads and explodes the mods automatically that there may be a tool that would package my mod for me. I do have 7zip for my zipping needs hehe. The Creation kit seems like it might be doing it when I "Create Archive" I get a pack files option. I just can't specify where, so I don't know where it's created, or even what it is called. Uploading to steam was all automatic.

Well, I think the archive refers to either bsa or the pack for managers, but not archive as in the regular archives. You'll need to do that by hand, unless they changed more about the CK than I noticed in my short time checking it. And yeah, Steam will prolly taky anything you make from your hands as-is, but here it needs to be packed first. Well, personally, I'm glad for that, it would be rather chaotic soon, if you were downloading single files, folders and... stuff. .P

The "create archive" (bsa) in the CK is bugged (doesn't create package). However if you choose the option to publish for steam workshop it successfully creates the package (.bsa, in your data folder). It sometimes skips some files, so make sure you check that it adds everything (and manually add missing things).

Then all you need is to do is cancel the steam upload, and zip it all up (esp+bsa) for easy distribution.
