Bleach mask mod - incorrectly-named textures,meshes?

When I use this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3729 I've found that it looks great in the inventory, but when equipped, I have the normal Morokei mask(the one it replaces). So far I've seen a few problems with the way it's supposed to work:

 

1 - There's no way to make /just/ Morokei have a certain hood, so the hood included in the mod would likely replace all hoods, for all the masks. Not cool.

2 - Naming the files "bleachmask" or whatever works fine if you've got an ESP file to point to them, but the only thing in the archives included is meshes and textures. Either the uploader completely forgot to include an ESP, or...no actually that's about the only thing I can even think of, besides the author not having made the mod.

 

Any help in at least getting this mask to properly replace Morokei? I can get the texture to show up by renaming it properly, but getting it to replace the mesh is proving a bit harder. Would I be better off just opening the CK and making an ESP for it myself?
