KungFuFighter
Hey there folks.. I'm in the process of replicating Seyda Neen (to some extend) in the Creation Kit. I made a new World Space and by now I've made appx. a 1/3 of Seyda Neen- includes landmass, housing, environment etc.BUT I'm having a problem.. Every now and then when traversing around the town and when Im ABOVE water level, my character goes into swim animation, I get a breath meter and the screen gets the "underwater" filter (brownish one, making it hard to see) - as if Skyrim thinks im UNDERWATER! Now, this occurs specific places on the map, according to your x,y,z loc. and I believe camera angel.. this is really wierd and since I have limited knowledge regarding CK I'm finding it hard to fix the issue! :(Oh and the environment incl. npc's are not effected - only the player! Does anyone know what can be causing this? Thanks in advance, worried modder Edited February 20, 2012 by KungFuFighter

Thanks in advance, worried modder i had this problem with my world mode in one cell only, my only solutions were to start over, not happening, or to remove the water, which i did. now instead of going by boat i am using a carriage. I know Sedya Neen must have water so removing it is not an option and i would rather not need to remove the water in my world either. So, if someone finds an answer please let us know. Thanks:0. BTW: the cell messing up for my was cell 1,-1.

BTW: the cell messing up for my was cell 1,-1. I'm having the same issue but my mod has nothing to do with water. random patches of out door cells are "under" water. if you look up at the sky from cells that aren't underwater you can see the water texture as if you were on the bottom of the ocean. i've loaded back as far as backup 0 and have re-installed skyrim hoping it would over write that ever it is i did to no avail. unless i figure this out my skyrim game play is ruined some one help! EdVanders
Howdy folks, I believe others are experiencing this problem, and I've posted the method that I eventually settled on:http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/558202-odd-bug-with-my-new-worldspace/page__view__findpost__p__6124994 Gl;hf modding! controllerface
So it looks like this thread is almost a year old, but I ran into this issue recently, it was happening in whiterun. Some of the cells (in my case WhiteRunOrigin) would suddenly become filled with water after simply loading them in the cell viewer window. I wasn't actually trying to do anything with water at all, just experiment with adding things into the world for a simple mod i was working on for school. When i right clicked, and then clicked "edit" I noticed that there was a "has water" check box that was disabled but checked. After tinkering with the "world spaces" dialog, I also noticed that the "WhiteRunWorld" had a "Use Land data" checkbox that was checked and it had a "Default Water Height" value of -14000.000. I noticed that several of the other cells, when right-clicking and selecting "edit", uned ther "Has Water" section, had a height value of "-0". Then i noticed that the glicthed cell had a height of 0, and tehn after lookign around at a bunch of teh otehr cells in teh area, some of them had -14000. So, then I tried setting the glicthed cells water height to exactl -14000, which shoudl be the default anyway, and it fixed the issue. For some reason, it seem slike it HAS to be exactly the value used in the "world space" dialog for it to work, if you put -100000 or -14001 it doesn't change anything. I'd say there's some bug there in the setting of default values and how they propegate to the "child" cells of the "parent" world space. In any case, worked like a charm for me, i even glotched a couple otehr cells on purpose and fixed them this way to try it, and it workd on them too.
