[LE] Help with making a bow work like Dawnguard Runehammer

I want to make a bow that will fire a spell when bashing, just like the Dawnguard Rune hammer fires fire rune spells when you bash.

 

I've tried loading all the matching enchantments and scripts to a Bow that the DG RH has, but it doesn't do anything when I bash with the bow.

 

I'm not very familiar with scripting.

 

If this works, you can potentially use any spell this way.

 

Any help is appreciated.

I once created Dragonrend Arrows that worked perfect. They would shoot dragons out of the sky. And for the life of me I can't remember how I did it. But it had something to do with the impact effect setting. There was a lot of trial and error in those arrows. I do recall I didn't have to write or alter any scripts.

Thanks, but I got the custom arrows thing down.

 

I'm wanting a weapon to have some spell casting ability. Similar to the Bloodskal blade, but I like the Runehammer mechanic of casting from a bash.

I was told to look up Spellswords on Nexus. Maybe poking around that mod will give me my answers.
