DoctorKaizeld
so i decided to take another crack at this leveled list editing thing. been a while and i have clearly forgotten a lot. so what i wanted to do:make one item spawn more often then another what i found in my search though:several items have red text and others have green text and even more have black text in conclusion, what does this mean? what should i read to learn more so as to complete my goal? or even better can you simply tell me what i should do? SMB92
You meaning the text colors in xEdit? Green is successful override, red is being overridden. So the former shows up in game the latter probably won't if there is no merged patch to merge the lists. Getting it to show up more often? Maybe whack that item at the top of the list. Somebody just posted a list they made and the top ine seems to appear a lot more often

DoctorKaizeld
actaually a better question would be how do i set one mod to prioritize over another for certain leveled lists?
SMB92
What you can do is right click on the record in what mod has the list you want to prioritize, and select Copy as Override into and select New File from the list. Call it MyPatch or something. When the new file appears you can drag and drop items on the list record from other esps that add to the list. So your patch would load last and override the refs to the lists in the other mod
