eddie001
Hi all, I have a little problem on OBSE and seeking for a help!I am already having the game version 1.2.0.416, and I am quite sure that the OBSE_v0020 is installed correctly.(At least it is all ok when I run the game from obse_loader.exe and all mods requiring OBSE work)But when I press ~ to enter the game console in the game, and enter the OBSE commands like getOBSEVersion, getFPS, getCurrentHealth (with a reference already, by clicking my character), there is NO return value showing in the console! When I enter wrong commands or without required parameters, there are still sentences showing errors, seeming that OBSE is working. Hence, I am not sure if my OBSE running correctly, or if it is alright to show no return value on game console when function calling. I am sorry for writing so clumsy and my poor English, hope anyone could help, thx!
kingtitan
An incorrectly entered command parameter is not causation for OBSE to not work. If your mods that require OBSE work without a hitch, then I would not worry about it at all. I remember having a similar issue with finding the version number via console, however, you can always right click any of the .dll files, hit properties and find the version number from there. If you are indeed having mod issues, please run us through how (and where) you installed OBSE. The more detailed you are, the faster we can help you out. eddie001
Thx for your reply!Until this moment, there is no problem on the mod that needs OBSE.Hence I think I can skip this concern, and enjoy the gameplay.Thx for the reply again! WarRatsG
A lot of commands are not designed for use in the console, so they dont print anything. They still return a result, but it just isnt printed.
eddie001
Thx for your reply, WarRatsG! After your reminding, I went to check the source code, and you are correct that some functions only return values but no message print out! Thank you very much!
