MarkusN
Completed prologue, and during that noticed some bugs with guards vs npc aggro. 1) When some guards on horseback spot pack of wolves, they get aggro and chases them down to kill them, and that is nice to see. But if some guard kills it, he just keeps riding horse in circles hitting the dead body...and if you stand near this dead body, you can also get hit..get KOed and looted from all your money (!). Tested it 3-4 times in White Orchard near the "A Frying Pan, Spick and Span" side quest, where there is big pack of wolves near the road and constant guard patrols. 2) Another thing I tried was to lure some deserters into guards on the bridge in Velen. I aggroed probably whole camp, the fight music started, and I ran to guards and just jumped into water to see what happens. And nothign happened, when the bandits got near the bridge the guards didn't attacked them at all. Even when one bandit tried to pick me with bow and guard got killed because he was in the line of fire, his buddies didn't lift a finger...and they were standing face to face to each other. Even when I lost aggro and combat music stopped playing, they were just still standing there together...I really hoped it was some bug, but I tried it 3 times with same outcome. On different PC so I gooogle just this place when you can try it: http://imgur.com/8yVsNw4 The place with deserters is in blue circle, and the bridge with guards is just near it. Seems like really critical overlook by devs, because it makes no sense whatsoever and really breaks the immersion (faction vs faction). I hoped guards will always attack bandits, but it seems like they are just in game to chase you down if they spot you stealing some worthless crap from crates. Sadly no mods to fix this.
