Oblivion modding moving doors

I'm updating some spells in one of my mod.

 

I've created a basic mark and recall spell which works fine.

 

I am having trouble with two doors/portals.

 

After playing around with the MoveTo command I managed to get both portals to appear in the right locations.

 

However when I enter the portal I seem to appear outside of the cell.

 

Do I need to move the portals and leave them for a while before re-enabling them again? I.E ScriptEffectUpdate

 

Has anyone had any experience moving doors in the Oblivion game world?

Doors have their exits locked into the game memory when they are used. Meaning that the actual door mesh may be moved from one place to another, but the teleport part of the door remains fixed to its CS location or where it was within that save. Instead yoiu should try using scripted activators if you want an actual portal system (may require some adjustment in nifscope and an altered nif to move the door away from its centerpoint), or just do what other mark/recall mods do, and have it just have it move you to the marker when the spell is cast, and not deal with any sort of doorway.
