Can some one help me I just installed midas magic spells of aurum 960 and when i go into the shop where the objects should be there are Just big blue exclamation marks plese help.

 

The patch came with the file.

All the textures and sounds and other files are just all in the data files but not in subfolders

First, did you get the version 0960 AND patch D?

 

Normally when I see a post about the exclamation points they are inside large yellow boxes, If that is what you have, you are missing some textures. As there is no read me with the midas mods, I assume the version 0960 is to be loaded first, then the patch. Possibly the missing textures are included in the patch. The author used a zip program called zipgenius to zip his files. It is possible that if you used something else to unzip them they did not unzip into the proper subfolders. Check to see if they were placed into the Oblivion\data folder instead of the textures folder - check your meshes, sound and music files also. If one of these was misplaced it is likely all four were.

 

Then - remember the main file must be installed first, then the patch.

Or you can Reinstall it manually by Opening the Zip file and Dragging The DATA file into your directory and Merging it with your current one. ( it wont overwrite anything).

And if the File doesnt have a DATA folder then click on data and add the TEXTURE, MESH, And the ESP/ESM manually, ( by dragging from the Downloaded file to your OB Directory.)

Also if there is a Sound folder Drag that over too. ( you might not have had one to start. Just put it in your directory.)

 

EDIT: After reading your post again, the files need to be put in there respective folders. So reinstall the mod and make sure the texture, meshes and whatever other folders there are go into the data folder. The exclamtion point means its not reading the texture. So really what i am saying is install it again.
