thelawfull Posted June 24, 2017 Author Share Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Sorry for the lack of information my laptop was quickly dieng and a friend of mine needs to know how to do this because hes making a road without the dirt he deletes the dirt and it shows the checkerboard or blank from cutting it out, Ive seen where adding this grey area to checkerboard part of .dds file stops this with hair textures. Heres an example but it wont show the checkerboard cause its a png you would have to open up the bsa yourself and find hairlong.dds on texture0.bsa http://i.imgur.com/dQCe9sN.jpg if the grey part of that square area wasnt there "say by saving to dx1 ofcoarse" hair would have a blank hole im pretty sure its been awhile since I messed up hair textures but you get the jist of what im trying to do. Levionte Posted June 24, 2017 Share Posted June 24, 2017 Transparency is handled by the alpha channel. White is visible, black is transparent and grey is in between.
