Two Nord-centric armor sets.

I find there's a huge lack of racial individuality in the Elder Scrolls series. Everything's so mixed and meshed it's kinda of hard to find armor, quests, and towns that bring out the spirit of your favorite race. As someone who loves Nords, all I really have is Bruma. While Bruma is nice, it's still heavily inhabited with other races and is under the rule of a crotchity Imperial (my kingdom for a Jarl).

 

One of the things I would have liked to have seen in Oblivion is more armor sets that were centered around certain races. So here, I have an idea for a Heavy and Light armor set with the Nords in mind.

 

Ulfsark Set: A set of armor crafted from polar bear pelts. Not a reskinned fur armor set, but a new model with the same stats as the Glass set. For the most part anyone who wishes to take up the task can go wild, the only few things I'd specify are-

 

1) A bear pelt helmet. Not too poofy like the Skyrim armor set mod one, but a bear pelt helm none the less.

 

2) A fur-rimmed leather hood on the cuirass.

 

3) That the fur on the cuirass goes down to the knees to form a sort of surcoat.

 

Secondly, the Hersir Set: A more traditional viking-themed armor set. Really, you can go all out on this one. As long as the helmet has eye holes and horns I'm happy.

 

 

I'm also willing to do some sketching of the individual armor pieces if needed.
