How to remove lens flares?

I found this on the steam forums:

 

 

 

I found what to modify to disable the lens falres, though the game still notifies that the data files have been altered.

... \ Dying Light \ DW \ Data0.pak --> open with winrar.

iside of Data0.pak there are 3 files to edit (simple text editor)

Data \ Scripts \ varlist_sun_glow.scd and the same with .scr extension.

Weather \ wheater.scd

In all 3 files, llok for lines that contain "flare" and set them to 0.0 instead of 1.0 or other variables ( you can delete some of those lines in weather.scd as they would be duplicates anyway.)

Don't touch the lines that are for "glow", that makes the sun disappear altogether.
