Some of the weapons in fallout are in French?

So, I've downloaded fallout 4 and modded it a bit recently and I've noticed that some of the weapons are in french? Not even all the weapons, literally it will just have small french words like de or the plank is called a plaque. I don't know what's going on, the words describing the weapon are in English and nothing else is in french? It's hard to describe, is it caused by a mod? None of my mods are in french as far as I know, some help will be appreciated. Mod loadout below and a screenshot example too.

I had this problem and turns out I had Functional Weapon Racks installed in French by SecretAgent99:

It only affected weapons spawned since I loaded the mod so just scrapped them. All other weapons were ok and after disabling, all new weapon names were in English.

 

I noticed this mod isnt in your list and none of them are by SecretAgent99. However, one of them may affect weapons and be in a different language.

 

 

You could deduce which mod is doing this by alphabetizing the list by author and looking up each author on nexusmods one by one and their list of mods and see if any are done in french. If you find the mod affecting the weapon names and disabling it works, try unloading it and see if the problem goes away. You can use finding a new weapon as a test for this (after killing an enemy for example).

 

If there isnt an update, try finding another mod that does the same thing, that has many downloads from people.

Had same problem with french names on some items. Deactivating Functional Weapon Racks fixed it. Such a shame really, wanted this mod.
