JustANewb
Just want to ask what's causing almost all enemies to be NOT LIKE bullet sponge. I tried playing on very hard diff, adding Monster Health mod and edited it on FO4Edit and increased it more, DL'ed Better Locational Damage (my damage is set to lowest - 1.0x), More Legendary spawns, Arbitration...still, they all die so quickly...Here is my mod list, I'm not sure what's causing enemies (...like mutants, raiders, and synths) get killed by 1-4 bullets of 10mm pistol. I read that buffed out Power Armors would look like butter w/ these mods, w/c killed the immersiveness of Power Armor. =/ Any help or insight would be appreciated! Zzyxzz
Did you install my mod, Better Locational Damage on an existing save game? If yes, you need to do a cell reset OR start a new game. i've wrote a small tutorial how to do a cell reset in my BLD mod, in the sticky section. Super Mutants are not related to my mod, as you installed SuperMutantOverhaul. Edit:My mod does remove all the bullet sponges/ at least enemies that shouldnt be bullet sponges like humans or small enemies like dogs. Humans depend highly on their armor, how much they can take. A gunner equipped with combat armor is much harder to kill with a 10mm than a "naked" raider. When you install this on a existing save, your enemies have still the old values, thats why you need to do a cell reset. Starting a new game is always better. JustANewb
Yup, but it was way before (...more or less 10+hrs of game time), I thought that it was also the cause of the enemies being butter (...my first play through my character doing 3x the damage) so I reinstalled it recently and changed some options (...now I installed 1x the damage). I also have Better Explosives. I haven't done cell reset yet (...my play time is already at 2 days, something hours). Will report back after. Thank you for the heads up! JustANewb
I obviously haven't read EVERYTHING on your mod page, sorry 'bout that! Is there a mod that up scales the equipped items of humanoid enemies?? Edited June 27, 2017 by JustANewb
Zzyxzz
I obviously haven't read EVERYTHING on your mod page, sorry 'bout that! Is there a mod that up scales the equipped items of humanoid enemies?? There is no mod known to me that does that. At level 5, human enemies will get better gear. At level 1-4 they've worse gear, to get you started. Also, you really should install the additional perk mod in the installer(called Better Perks.esp), otherwise you'll deal too much damage. Its also mentioned as necessary/recommended. Probably i should add this to the main mod...This should also fix your enemies die too fast issue. Edit:Regarding scripted headshots and helmets that can prevent headshots etc. read the description page, there is a lot of information about that and other features like bleeding & stagger etc.
JustANewb
I had Better Perks before but I also removed it because I thought reduction in gun damage was not enough (...sorry bout that), I opted for Rebalanced Perks mod w/c halved the damage, but did not fared any better as well. I did a cell reset -> still about to find a non-mutant enemy. Will report back soon. Guess I have to DL enemy-specific mods that increase their hp / resistance then. Edit: If your'e talking about the BLD holotape, yup, I have the helmet-prevents-headshot thingy, the stagger thingy, and the bleed thingy. Seems to work just fine regarding that area! Zzyxzz
You'll need Better Perks, otherwise you'll do too much damage. Thats the issue, why your enemies die too fast.
JustANewb
Ok, I reinstalled BLD and re-added Better Perks. It does look like it gives better reduce in weapon damage on paper. Quick question: does Arbitration mod conflicts with BLD in any way?? If I recall, Arbitration also changes the damage done ad damage received. Kindly correct me if I'm wrong. Zzyxzz
BLD will conflict with mods that change damage outgoing or incoming, weapon damage and mods that change the damage perks. The result will be enemies that die too fast or huge bullet sponges.
