Running the mods

I just made an account on this site to be able to download the mods, but when i try to activate one through nexus mod manager and run it, both on normal or custom option, the mod doesen't work when in game. is there something ive done wrong?

Yes and no, you need to go into the mod manager settings and make sure your mods are being sent to where the game is. So if you are running the steam version, make sure its going through your program files/steam/steamapps/common/skyrim as opposed to mydocuments/games/etc..

 

I remember having that problem with fallout when I first used FOMM. Post back if that doesn't fix it.

I seemed to already have it in a similar directory to that. i bought the game straight from the store, but it runs on steam. i dunno if that makes it steam version or not? should i change directory? :confused:
