LikwidLucas
Hello all, I have had a major problem with Fallout 4 since installing it on my new PC in February. Every time I run the game vanilla, I’m having excessive assets (NPCs, meshes, textures and entire settlements) not appear from a medium distance. Everything within about 30 feet loads just fine, but from a distance, nothing is rendered properly. When I add any graphics mods, textures or ENB, the loading degrades more and more to a point where I enter for example, Covenant and the entire city is a collision free blob. -I have reinstalled and verified my game well around 6 times-Tried every ini tweak on the internet-Moved to a different drive-Left the game 100% vanilla-Installed ENBoost-Tried playing at low settings-Installed the High-Res DLC-Clean reinstallation of Motherboard and GPUNone have fixed the problem I built this PC back in November with the intention of modding Skyrim and Fallout, but have only seen decent results with SSE. I have a GTX 1080, i7-6700k, 16 GB Ram and installed on an SSD. The Vanilla game should run fine. My Alienware X51 with barely enough to play this game at 38 fps on low got me through 400+ hours of FO4 without any of this. 3 friends and myself individually all immediately came to the conclusion that it was either a RAM or VRAM related issue. Using MSI Afterburner, I went into heavy combat in Boston and my Max Ram usage was around 4600 MB (not counting my system’s 3700 extra) and my VRAM usage maxed out at 3600 vanilla. I have not noticed too many issues in other games, but at the same time I haven’t played any newer games that I’ve been familiar with on other setups. If anyone could diagnose the problem either with my specs or Fallout 4, you will be making a destroyed man happy.
