QuakeGrapes Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Whenever I download mods, they end up with no textures or not being in the game. The perk mod I installed still had the perk but it didn't include the pictures of the perks and the Hitman's 1st person overhaul didn't change anything. My mods worked before on my laptop but for some reason it doesn't work on my better computer. I would really appreciate it someone helped me get my mods working again, and no I am not going back to my laptop. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dubiousintent Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Most likely you are not extracting all the contents of the mod package when you unpack/install the mod. How are you installing your mods? Are you using a "mod manager", and if so which one? Are you aware that some mods require the use of a particular manager (usually "FOMM - Forked") to show you things like pictures of their options during install and most managers don't? Have you read the associated manual or viewed a tutorial video on it? If not, please see the 'Mod Managers' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article which has links to the major managers and their tutorials. Did you install Steam to it's default location? If so, please see the wiki "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" article for why the default Steam behavior of installing games to the "C:\Program Files" folder tree is bad and "disabling UAC and running as Administrator" is NOT sufficient, with instructions how to move it.
