pogonoforysci
Update:My mod seemed to not load because the door portal was not connected to the door in the outside world - now fixed. I relinked one of the upgrade X markers to the quest (using the method that you described) . Now although I have all the upgrades bought the area that was re linked to the quest shows as not upgraded (full of rubbish no furniture - I can see the furniture in the CK). I noticed that the furniture is connected with a blue line to the right marker (the one that I reconnected to the quest) but if I went to edit each item it would show that the parent marker has a different Ref ID that the marker that I modified. I went and reconnected several items to the correct marker so now the blue line that goes to the X and parameters in the Edit window match. Still non of this items shows in the game. Items that I simply add without connecting to any of the X markers show up OK in game. Any ideas what is the cause??
flobalob
My guess is that the Xmarkers are still disabled because you haven't re-purchased everything (which you cannot do BTW, you would have to load a game from before you purchased the house). So you will have to manually enable the Xmarkers by typing prid <FormID of new Xmarker> {Press Enter}Enable{press Enter} Note: The game's FormID will be prefixed with the load order e.g.in the editor it might be 0100147A but in game it might be 0800147A depending on the load order, first 2 digits change. pogonoforysci
Thanks for the info, I'll give it a try. Also I was wondering about something. Each room has two sets of furniture: pre upgrade rubbish and proper furniture that you get after buying the upgrade. All those items are connected to the same marker and at least for me don't differ in parameters. How does the game know which ones to display? flobalob
One set will be set to Enable Parent Opposite (its a checkbox on the various references) .
