binghamtonjzh Posted June 30, 2017 Share Posted June 30, 2017 Anyone using companions, especially automatrons all have to deal with the dame Navmesh, especially in the tight interior space. Companions will either get stuck or just won't move at all. "I am afraid it is a tat bit out of my reach." is all I ever hear from codsworth. I really love the concept of automatron, but for too many times my squishy character is taking all the shots while my tanky sentry bot are staying behind throwing missile and cluster bomb at me. For the creater of Nukamon, I think this concept is very similar to your mod, if you can create a version of your mod that "spawn" your current companion at the location where the grenade landed it would be really really nice, solving the navmesh problem once and for all. I would really appreciate it . There are ingame commend that place a NPC at player, and it include NPC that are current companions. It dosen't alter the AI behavior and just simplyrelocate the NPC to player location. If that location could be alter to the location of a gernade, that would solve the problem. In "summon companions", all current companion are place at the player location, may be the code in that mod can help. Thank you for your time. I hope it is not something too complicated. Whether or not we will see a new mod, I strongly recommend both Nukamon and Summon companion for anyone having trouble with navmesh and their companion like me. binghamtonjzh Posted June 30, 2017 Author Share Posted June 30, 2017 Just a correction, the mod to summon all current companion is called "summon companions - misc.mod" it add a device activator that make it a lot easier to do so in the middle of combat.
