hangyaku
New to modding but I have all the required resources for basic modding except 3DSMax, Maya, Photoshop, and a certain problem with Nifskope 1.1.0 w/20.0.05 reverting back from 20.0.0.7(and yes I have the nif.xml with Skyrim in it), and probably some others I don't know/have yet but any help with this can help. What I have Nifskope but seem to have some problem with render version, Blender 2.49b, Python, w/Pyffi, and Gimp 2.0. For starters and probably a bit hard for someone like me I'm trying to look for the transformation into Werewolf and make a mod out of it letting the character transform into somethings else. -I won't make another thread anytime soon so I'll just keep updating this one with what I would need help with. SkjoldBjorn
first of, if you download the newest nifskop you wont need the seperate xml, it got native support for skyrim nifs. You don't give a solid point in what exactly you need help with, so please elaborate a little more if the info im giving you now is not what you are after. But just to give you a headsup, the startup version is 20.2.0.7 and you will also need a nif plugin for blender for import/export.There are good tutorials here on this forum, check the stickied tutorial link at the top and find the blender export/import video. Or you can check the wiki and see if there is anything that will go more into detail if that is needed. If you have past experience with blender everything you want to know is there, if not..well then you need to take online courses on how to model with blender, many of them are free and you can get a long way with those. Sorry for the late reply had to validate Windows Vista again...had it for 4 years...but onto topic. Kind of complicated to explain in my case but what I'm trying to do is make a mod for polymorphing by using the Werewolf(Beast) transformation as the base and I'm not really sure where to look in Creation Kit. I'm following the tutorials on nexus and other sites, not much experience with Blender so I'll need to do some work there and thnx for informing me about the latest version of Nifskope having it. Might be too little information but hope the polymorphing narrows it down. Edited February 23, 2012 by hangyaku
