Character Creation Bug

I would like to troubleshoot a problem that I can't seem to fix. Whenever I start a new game, and get out of the cart to create my character, it skips the screen.

It goes like this:

*Drops off cart*

*Next in line*

"Who are you"

...(Skips screen)

"You picked a bad time to come to Skyrim kinsman"

*On to execution*

 

I highly doubt it has to do with a problem with my mods, because I have only about 5 installed. Here is my list:

Skyrim.esm

HighResTexturePack02.esp

HighResTexturePack01.esp

Realistic Lighting.esp

Realistic Lighting Patcher.esp

WiS IV.esp

hideout.esp

dd - realistic ragdoll force.esp

 

My mouse wheel also broke yesterday. Do you think it has anything to do with this?
