Iolya
Well, I suppose, Skyrim is the most unstable game i've ever dealt with :D I have another problem with FPS drops and I'm asking for your help again. When i'm in Dragonsreach, after maybe 3-5 minutes of being there FPS drops horribly. But the other regions of Skyrim (icluding all other Jarl's castles) run fine with 40-60 FPS. Only the Dragonsreach have incredible FPS drops. It look like memory leak but i'm not sure that it is. I do not use any mods that change interior lightning or any interior HD texture packs. Any ideas what could it be? UPD #1. Well, it's very strange but it seems the problem was caused by... Immersive First Person view mod! Not absolutely sure about it, but i've disabled it and so far there's no lag in Dragonsreach... I'll continue the experiment and report about the results. UPD #2. Well, unfortunately, i was wrong. What could it be than? UPD #3. The problem was caused by RS Children Overhaul. Tried to unistall and install it several times, and without it FPS never drops so much. Hope this will be fixed soon. What could it be than?maybe some other mod was clashing with first person mod and that's why it only temporarily fixed it disable all mods and reenable 5 at a time relaunching over and over to check which group of mods has the dodgy one in it also use enb and cleanmem Edited July 3, 2017 by skannerz22

Iolya
Sorry for my abscense) I'll try this out and report if there are any results. BTW i've managed to figure out that this phenomena (I mean FPS drop) happens not only in Dragonsreach but in the cities as well. In Dragonsreach it takes less time for FPS Drops to start. More than that i've tried to play Skyrim on PC and on my laptop (which is way more better than my pc). Mods were approximitely the same and the problem of FPS drops was both on PC and on laptop. I have two mods which are connected with memory: 1) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51038/?2) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51038/? Can they cause the problem? UPD. Tried CleanMem programm. Unfortunately, the problem still exists. Now, i think, it is clear as day that these drops are caused by some mod or maybe group of mods which i'm using. I wonder if these two mods I mentioned above can cause the problem? Anyway, i'll try to off some modifications in NMM and see if there is any result. Iolya
Well, i don't know what to think... At first game runs with 50-60 fps, but than it drops to 20 and after some time it crashes without any error... Tried to switch off many of my mods, but none of them seemed to cause the problem. I don't know what to think. Has anyone had this problem?
Iolya
I've tried to re-install Skyrim and install some mods again. Started a new game and managed to find out that FPS drops happen when Balgruf thanks me for the information about dragons, right after Helgen. FPS drops at the moment when he gives me random armor as his gratitude. Up to this moment FPS is stable (50-60). But when he gives me the armor - FPS drops to 20 and it never become stable anymore. So, i believe it is script problem. But what cause this? Is it important to run Skyrim firstly without any mods and complete the first quest? The point is that after reinstallation i've launched Skyrim with SKSE at once. Edited August 4, 2017 by Iolya
Neko91
Had the same problem with FPS dropping horribly in Dragonsreach after a minute or so -- from 59 (which is what I have it capped at) to 18 or lower. Uninstalling RS Children solved the problem. I never had a problem with RS Children until recently but I guess it's back to potato head children for now ... EDIT: Installing the XPMSE Skeleton for RSChildren solved the problem -- lets you use RS Children without the fps drop. whynotanother
Thank you worked perfectly, never would have guessed. RSChildren been in my load order forever. This solved it, FPS from 15 in dragonsreach to 59. Owe you big time.
