Rennn Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I'm noticing that at a fairly short range, some branches pop in on trees of all kinds. It's distracting, and I have performance to spare, so what value do I change in the .ini to fix this? It's like the trees are in some kind of 'half-LOD' where they're not LOD, but they're still missing branches which pop in as you get close.
Guardianl Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I assume your game settings are on max and modded skyrim with texture packs and grapic enhancers? What is your system specs?
Rennn Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) No, my settings are on high with texture packs at 80-90 fps outdoors. I could go ultra easily, but this is irrelevant. I'm not exactly a novice at optimizing games. For my specs, look at my sig. Also, my ugrids are at 7.What value must be tweaked to fix this tree lod? Edited February 22, 2012 by Rennn
MorwynKelm Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Check out this thread, both of my ini's are posted and will give you what you need. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/549130-maxing-havok-skyrim-spanked/page__view__getnewpost
Deleted4610270User Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Could you please tell thr exact lines to edit to do this? My .ini files are almost identical, but trees keep popping way too close.
