FlyingHigh10000000
I've noticed this so far in Ysgramor's Tomb and Morvath's Lair, both while doing quests. Sometimes a cave/tomb will just plain not load all of the bits and pieces of terrain. In some cases this makes the cave impossible to even go into properly, since there's just a big hole that you fall into, land without getting hurt at the bottom of, and realize that you can't escape from. In Ysgramor's Tomb I fixed it by saving/loading, but then when I got to the end of the tomb, the staircase to the reward chest with the shield and such was missing, so I had to tcl my way up there. In Morvath's lair there's a cyan "wall" of sorts that I can't see beyond, unless I go through it. When I do, there's a huge hole with a frostbite spider at the bottom, and a whole lot of missing terrain. Interiors for homes and cities seem to be loading perfectly; it's only tombs and caves having this issue. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Doesn't seem like a mod issue, since it only affects a few places, and isn't consistent.
Deleted1308005User
I have this problem too. Its not just those two caves, any interior might lose a bits of it, I am reinstalling skyrim atm. And Its not bug on mod. Its something on the skyrim itself, maybe the beta patch? Can't say for sure.
FlyingHigh10000000
It's strange, because as I just found out, saving/loading isn't enough to do it. You have to save /inside/ the place with problems, quit the game, start it up again, and load your save, and even then you might still be missing bits and pieces. Seems like it's not just terrain, either. When I loaded Morvath's Lair back up, there were coin purses and Septims lying around on a table that weren't there the last time. I didn't expect Skyrim to be stable on launch, but there are so many bugs that it's kinda making me want to just go back to New Vegas until they get some real fixes done. rabidNode
I have had this same issue as of late. I did not have it with the earliest skyrim versions. I also did not have as many MODs.I usually resolve it just by saving and reloading.Yah this game has a lot of bugs and once they tweak and fix the Ck the community will figure it out eventually. I never rely on the actual game devs or publisher to fix these issues. They are concerned with SW functionality and other avenues of revenue not much effort goes into the bugs. This is the sloppiest launch of a tes game I have seen tbh. Glad I am not the only one with this issue.
FlyingHigh10000000
I get this horrible feeling that it's a sign of savegames getting bloated. Might load up my level 6 save and see if tombs are messed up for her. Seems like the longer you play Skyrim, the more problems Skyrim has. :(
