Anyone working on a Lock Bash mod?

Look up the Lock Breaker mod, and the various Unlocking Spells in mods available for alternatives to lockpicking. The way it is now unlocking is done in a most convoluted way; I really don't know why more direct targeting of objects was removed in favor of actors. At least it works. And with the destructible states available as an option we may well see that put to use as an additional alternative with the drawback of destroying items in the container. Iceflame89 is working on that with his Lock Breaker mod. I've taken a look at his work trying to figure out for myself if there's a better way that doesn't involve altering all those containers (for compatibility). There's still a lot left to figure out how to do, like determining the source of damage for an OnHit event and using that information to tie it to a skill, plus there's the problem of just how to remove items from the container with some kind of chance based script (without removing quest items of course). It would be nice to have some decent documentation on how to get the value stored in akSource, the wiki is less than helpful.
