Soutthpaw
So when I download a weapon mod using FOMM, I download the weapon and it show up as the normal weapon and it work and all that. But heres the thing, the weapon itself is that like modeled blue-white texture. Its like the skin before the detailed stuff is applied. So when your in a editor or something the weapon has that white skin. And its like that to all weapons I download and I cant seem to fix it, Ive tried reinstalling, verifying game cache, and all the archive stuff everyone says. Nothing has come anywhere near fixing my issue. I dont know if its because something is wrong with my pc, or if the game just hats modding. Now I do have really old saves that could be conflicting with new saves but I dont think that that would happen. I need a fix and I need it really badly, Please help me. dubiousintent
Did you use a "mod manager" to install the mods? If so, they all have the ability to "toggle" "ArchiveInvalidation". That's always the first thing to try. Please see the 'ArchiveInvalidation (by Manager) ' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. Looks like the mesh (.nif) file doesn't have the correct path to the texture (.dds) file. But that would be a problem for many people, so see if there are comments about it on the download page. Another possibility is you have too many plugins installed. The 140 cap is only a guideline. Please see the 'Smaller Plugin Cap' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. If none of that helps, please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. -Dubious-
